Inside the Oven
ShoeBox Oven is tiny, if not
completely imaginary. Enjoying the bittersweetness of life, my oven and I discover and bake pastries from real and imagined places.
Not having ever left the states, I've relied on my imagination,
my Oven's inventiveness and a shoebox of recipes I've collected
since childhood to come up with new pastries. The more me and
my tiny Oven explored, the more I realized that a little imagination with
sugar and flour can make a little idea real, if not sweet.
